I slutet av 1973 bildades ett helt nytt Spotnicks, en 6-mannaorkester bestående av Bo Winberg, Håkan Mjörnheim, Mats Björklund, Peter Wiberg, Matz Nilsson och Tommy Tausis.

At the end of 1973, a completely new Spotnicks was formed, a 6-piece orchestra consisting of Bo Winberg, Håkan Mjörnheim, Mats Björklund, Peter Wiberg, Matz Nilsson and Tommy Tausis.

The Spotnicks är: Bo Winberg, Mats Björklund, Todde Stoor, Peter Wiberg, Leif Paulsén och Tommy Tausis.
Mats Nilsson och Håkan Mjörnheim är nu ersatta av Todde Stoor och Leif Paulsén.

Mats Nilsson and Håkan Mjörnheim are now replaced by Todde Stoor and Leif Paulsén.

Enligt honom så är bilderna tagna i Hedefors vid Säveån 1971 när de ”skulle göra ngn grej i Tyskland. Att promota en ny platta eller något…”
On the pictures, in addition to Bo Winberg, Bob Lander and Björn Thelin, is the drummer Leif Nyström – also called ”Liffen”.
According to him, the pictures were taken in Hedefors beside Säveån in 1971 when they ”were going to do a thing in Germany. To promote a new record or something…”
The Spotnicks are awarded with the BRONZE LION on March 3rd 1973
The Spotnicks får utmärkelsen Brons-lejonet av RTL för deras inspelning av låten ”If You Could Read My Mind”.
Tillsammans med Peter Wiberg och Bo Maniette, Matz Nilsson och Johann Dielemans åker Bo Winberg till Dortmund för att framföra låten på den högtidliga uppvaktningen den 3 mars i Westfalenhalle.
Guld-, Silver- och Bronslejonen delades ut till de mest framgångsrika stjärnorna i Radio Luxemburgs ”Hitparade” och som valdes ut av lyssnare och en expertjury.
The Spotnicks are awarded the Bronze Lion by RTL for their recording of the song ”If You Could Read My Mind”.
Together with Peter Wiberg and Bo Maniette, Matz Nilsson and Johann Dielemans Bo Winberg Went to Dortmund to perform the song on March 3 in Westfalenhalle in Dortmund and to receive the honour.
Gold, Silver and Bronze Lions were presented to the most successful stars of the Radio Luxemburg’s ”Hitparade” as determined by listeners and a jury of experts.
